Many companies will match their employees’ charitable donations dollar-for-dollar. That means if you donate to FOSB’s Direct Giving campaign and then follow your employer’s matching gift process, your donation will be doubled! (Some companies even triple or quadruple donations!)
Please donate to Direct Giving and take advantage of your employer’s matching program! So far, nearly 20% of this year’s Direct Giving donations have come from employer matches. It really does make a big difference.
- How do I know if my employer matches gifts?
Use the UW’s handy search engine to find out if your employer has a matching gift program.
Some of the companies that have contributed to FOSB through a matching gift program include Boeing, Nordstrom, BECU, Gates Foundation, Expedia, F5 Networks, Google, Microsoft, T-Mobile, Tableau, Netflix, and Github.
- My employer does matching! Now what?
If you haven’t already, please donate to our Direct Giving campaign. Any amount is sincerely appreciated. Then, contact your HR department to request a matching gift.
- What if I need help with employer matching?
Contact our bookkeeper, Jerri Harden.
